Settling In

• The Naming of the Slave: The day started in the tavern with Erik, Tane, Pandora, and a new slave boy named Peter Plouton. They discussed Master Ember's delay in giving the boy a proper name. Erik jokingly suggested "Rubber Ducky," but the boy stated he'd prefer a more literary name, perhaps "Copper" since he had ginger hair and Lady Pandora favored the metal. Pandora then sent the boy back to his kennel.

• Tavern Banter: You (GT) arrived shortly after the slave departed. The group—including Devan, Quinn, and the slave Peregrine—engaged in casual banter. Pandora playfully pitched her lavender soap again, and Tane bought a bar for two coppers.

• Settling In: Devan noticed you had been away and asked if you were planning to settle in the City of Lara. You confirmed you had found a "cute" empty house (House #6) with a balcony. Devan joked about whether you liked the second-floor exit in case you needed to escape angry husbands, but you clarified you simply preferred open spaces due to your Northern upbringing.

• A Minor Misstep: After Quinn and Pandora left for the evening, the slave Peregrine made a joke about Quinn probably needing a lot of soap because smithing is dirty work. You pointed out that it was disrespectful for a slave boy to speak of a Free Man that way. Peregrine quickly apologized, stating he meant no disrespect. You then excused yourself for the evening, and Peregrine requested to return to the kennels.

• Paperwork: Throughout the day, you collected your "Slave Application" and "City of Lara Citizen Application" forms, mentioning to the group that you planned to read over the paperwork and get things settled.
