Establishing a Presence in Lara

 

• Shopping & Wardrobe Updates: The evening began with GT trying on a large number of Gorean clothing demos, primarily the "Hadrian" armor and outfit sets, as well as some gladiator sandals. GT also received and unpacked the "NICOLAS AVATAR" by Tellaq.

• Exploration and Hazards in Olni: GT spent some time exploring various areas of Olni (the Shore, Peaks, and River). This proved to be a bit treacherous, as GT repeatedly suffered drowning damage and was briefly caught in a "Young Forest Sleen" trap.

• Extensive Archival Research in Ko-Ro-Ba: After teleporting through a few non-Gorean regions, GT arrived in Ko-Ro-Ba and accessed several training archives. GT collected a massive amount of documentation, including years worth of "Academy Kajira Training" classes, "Slave Basics," and dozens of "Serve of the Day" notecards covering Gorean etiquette, drinks, and serving mechanics.

• The Library in the City of Lara: GT relocated to the City of Lara and spent a significant amount of time at the Medium Mahogany Library. GT systematically collected dozens of lore texts and scrolls covering a wide range of Gorean topics, including Physicians, Law, Scribes, Thieves, Assassins, Religion, and various cultural norms.

• Establishing a Presence in Lara: While in the city, GT was greeted by Master Ember, who provided a Citizen Application and several recommendations for medieval/fantasy stores. After a brief interaction with a slave boy named Sam who was trying to read in the library, GT asked Master Ember if the city had an inn. Master Ember guided GT to the inn and explained the rental system. GT then paid 63 coppers to rent a room for 7 days and checked in.
